A PRP facial uses platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood, applied or injected into the skin after microneedling to support repair and texture. At The Therapy Studio in Rimington, around ten minutes from Clitheroe, the guide price is from £200, usually as a course of three.
A small sample of your blood is taken and spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, which is rich in platelets and growth factors. That plasma is then used with microneedling so it reaches the skin that needs it.
Because the material is your own, there is nothing foreign introduced.
iPRF is the same idea prepared differently — a smaller volume that is more concentrated in growth factors. Steph will explain which is more appropriate for you.
It suits dull, tired or crepey skin, early ageing and some acne scarring, and it can be used carefully under the eyes.

It is a standard small blood draw from the arm and takes a minute or two. Tell Steph if needles worry you and she will talk you through it.
