Pregnancy massage

Comfortable, properly supported massage for pregnancy and afterwards.

£65 for 60 minutes · £85 for 90 minutes. Confirmed when you book.

Pregnancy massage at The Therapy Studio, Rimington

Pregnancy massage at The Therapy Studio is given in a side-lying supported position to ease the back, hip and shoulder aches common in pregnancy. A 60-minute treatment is £65 and a 90-minute treatment is £85. Treatment is available after the first twelve weeks with a straightforward pregnancy in a quiet private room.

How the treatment is adapted

You are positioned on your side with cushions and supports rather than lying flat, and pressure and technique are adapted throughout. Certain areas and techniques are avoided as standard in pregnancy.

Most people come for lower back and hip ache, tight shoulders and general heaviness in the legs.

Post-natal and baby massage

Post-natal massage helps with the neck, shoulder and back strain that comes with feeding and carrying. Infant, baby and parent-and-baby massage sessions are also available.

Bring your baby if you need to — this is a private room, not a busy salon.
