Aromatherapy massage combines gentle, flowing massage with essential oils selected for you — calming, uplifting or restorative. At The Therapy Studio in Rimington a 60-minute treatment is £65 and a 90-minute treatment is £85.
Steph will ask how you have been sleeping, how stressed you are and what you want from the hour, then blend accordingly. Neal's Yard organic products are used at the studio.
Let her know about allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy or any medication, as some oils are avoided in those situations.
Slower and gentler than a sports massage, working over the back, shoulders, neck, arms and legs with the pressure you are comfortable with.
